Green Solutions International (GSI)

Our roots run deep into the sun-kissed Caribbean islands and we’re thrilled whenever we get to work with clients who serve the region. When Green Solutions International approached us for public relations to expand the brand and reach and get more eyes on their work, it was an honour to have the company joining the ranks of our clientele.

Green Solutions International (GSI) is a SKN Incorporated is a non-governmental organization and a premier provider of green energy solutions across the Caribbean, and the company was focused on expanding their reach and awareness in Jamaica, one of their key areas of operation, and one of the main countries we operate in as Oasis Integrated Communications.

We got to work with creative brand storytelling, highlighting the low numbers of women in green energy while collectively showing how GSI is educating and empowering women to take on careers in the energy sector. We planned and executed a photoshoot with the Executive Director in the field to create hero images to represent the extraordinary story and reach of the company. Then we got to work speaking with the top editors, producers, and talk show hosts. 

Our result was over 25 million impressions! We landed prime time radio interviews that featured our client, GSI, and stakeholders including execs from the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and US-based energy powerhouse Cadmus Group. In our brand awareness for GSI, we landed a prominent full page story focused on career and education and how GSI is empowering more Caribbean women to take on careers in green energy, a double-page spread in the business section of one of the top newspapers in Jamaica, which was also published in St. Lucia; and to top that off, we also secured business features in both print and online media; PLUS an op-ed that expanded borders and exponentially increased GSI’s visibility to its stakeholders.

The publicity we got for GSI resulted in increased enquiries about their programmes and services. Our client was thrilled!
